Carlos was a successful real estate investor from Sao Paulo, Brazil.
He was building luxury apartment buildings close to the center of the city and everybody was amazed of his work.
Everyone thought that Carlos got rich from the real estate business, but he actually had a dark past.
He always wanted to have a luxurious life …. loved women, night clubs … drugs and everything was illegal or immoral and could make him feel alive.
His businesses from the early beginning … were illegal … but being so damm lucky he was never caught.
There were just few times when he could enter into problems with the police, but because corruption was something normal at that time in Sao Paolo, he was saved in the last moment, by a friend that had very good connections.
And like any other smart guy … Carlos considered that he was born under a lucky star … and ignored all those signs from the Universe.
But later on … in the moment when he got married … having a beautiful family with 3 children … he continued the illegal business, but in a much elegant way.
Everyone saw Carlos and his family … as the perfect case scenario for a beautiful life.
They were admired by all the people that knew them.
And basically his life was totally arranged.
He has a very beautiful house, same as the ones of wealthy persons he knew, a gorgeous wife … Maria … who came from Argentina not so long ago … and 3 amazing kids.
If you were looking at them … you could swear that the picture with them was one of the best motivational posts from social media.
The perfect life.
… the perfect scenario.
But one day … police is calling Carlos.
He had no idea what it was about … and was totally surprised to see that they reminded him of the illegal facts from his past.
He totally forgot everything … and could not believe it … cause when everything was so well arranged …. and he was living a hollywoodian story … the police comes to say … “Wake up! It was just a dream! We need to talk about your past”.
He started to be overwhelmed by all kinds of contradictory emotions … still not believing what was happening.
But …. he remembers about his friend from the past … and advised by his wife … calls him and meets in coffee shop.
His friend smiles … realizing that it’s actually a karmic problem … and Carlos needs a favor from Santa Claus or a karmic emergency doctor … to be saved.
He was not Santa … but knew from his experience and readings everything about karma.
Liking Carlos … he decides to help him one more time … but still asking himself why when we live the life we always wanted … that amazing result of a tremendous success … karma appears from nowhere … knocks on the door saying … “Remember me?! … We need to talk! There is a lesson you missed from the school of life … but it’s never too late to learn it now”.
But will Carlos learn the karmic life lesson if he is so easily saved by his friend … that had so many good connections?!
The friend was still thinking if Carlos needs to be saved … or let him see the lesson … and start the difficult journey with authorities … cleaning his past … by cleaning his karma.
It was difficult to realize if he needs to tell Carlos about what karma really means or simple help him … like a karmic emergency doctor.
He was smiling … realizing that he became kind of a doctor … and even one more important as a veterinarian, a dentist, a surgery doctor … or any other type of doctors.
And …. same as a surgery doctor … is taking care of the liver surgery to an alcoholic … hoping that the patient will understand after being saved … that he needs to totally forget about alcohol … in the same way he needed to save Carlos … hoping that he will understand the lesson of life … and totally forget about illegal stuff.
In Brazil of those times … you could still do anything you want … but it was the time of awakening for Carlos.
He needed to be saved … one more time by his friend … but in the same time … understand the lesson … so that he could continue in peace his perfect life … and be again that motivational symbol for all the people that knew and admired him.
